It’s a joy to work with brides and event planners…to make that special day just perfect. Been there—done that! As the mother of a bride, I helped plan a destination wedding down to the smallest detail with my daughter and the local experts. My experience and involvement in the world of art, printing and handwriting has certainly helped. I am a member of International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH) as well as an active member of the Houston Calligraphy Guild.

Over the years, I have studied with some of the best teachers from around the country and Europe. For many years I attended workshops and worked very hard to attain excellence through practice, patience and perseverance. I have seen my work flourish since 1984. My teachers have instilled in me the thrill of exuberance and discovery of inner inspiration. I specialize in addressing envelopes for weddings and special events along with certificates, awards and commissioned pieces or special requests. I have been teaching the Italic, Copperplate and Uncial hands to hundreds of students since 2000 through adult classes at Leisure Learning Unlimited. It gives me great pleasure to influence and inspire others in the written hands. I encourage my students to share their talents and skills with others. In this age of computers and hi-tech, it is so special to receive a hand written note or just see your name done in calligraphy. Our work becomes a gift and sometimes, even, a legacy.
